Welcome

Welcome to the website of St Helen's Catholic Junior School Academy in Brentwood, Essex.

On behalf of the childen, staff and governing body, I would like to warmly welcome you to St. Helen’s Catholic Junior School Academy. If you are about to join our school community, we hope that this will be the beginning of a very happy time for you and your child.

The school aims to provide a secure and happy environment with a compassionate staff who are always available to care for their needs. It seeks to be a community which complements both the home and the parish, attempting to live out the values of the Gospel and Catholic faith.

At St. Helen’s, we focus on the whole child. We appreciate the importance of English, Maths and other core areas of the curriculum, but also want to provide as wide a range of learning opportunities for your children as possible, which we do through our lessons, school clubs and external visits.

This website will tell you a great deal about our school. However, if there are other aspects that you would like to know about, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are very happy to show prospective parents around the school and answer any questions you may have. Appointments can be made by telephoning the school office.

School is always a happier place when parents and staff work in partnership. We always expect high standards of behaviour and effort from all children and welcome the support of parents in doing so. Learning is a two-way street and if we all work together, then there is no limit to the incredible things that your children can achieve here.

I look forward to meeting you in person in the future.
