Homework

We use Seesaw as a home learning resource.  Seesaw enables teachers to set tasks for the children and for the children to complete them, online or in their homework books, as directed by their class teachers.

Please visit https://web.seesaw.me/ and use your child's login information (Available inside their homework book) to login.

Homework tasks will be set on a Friday, and should be completed by the following Wednesday. If your child requires help or is having difficulties accessing the homework they should firstly speak to their class teacher.

Reading

Each child in Year 6 should be reading for 30 minutes a day at home. This can be to themselves or to an adult at home. Once a week they will need to complete one of the below activities in their homework book, and upload it to their Journal on Seesaw.  Class Teachers will monitor this work along with their homework.

Once a week they will be able to bring the school reading book back to school to change it for another one.  If they have not completed the book, they can hold onto it for a further week.  For details of which day they should bring the books in to school, your child should speak with their class teacher.
